Matthew of Paris was an English Benedictine monk who was a chronicler, artist known for illuminated manuscripts, and a cartographer who was based at St. Albans Abbey in Hertfordshire.

Bookplate of Roger Gates. Early annotations and manuscript underlinings throughout.

The Universal Short Title Catalogue lists only one other known copy, at the Universitätsbibliothek in Basel, Switzerland
